Associate Professor Dr Norazilawati Abdullah ( Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjong Malim, Perak, Malaysia)

Associate Professor Dr Norazilawati Abdullah is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Human Development, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris.  Her area of expertise are pedagogy and science education. She is presentable, self motivated and confident lecturer with extensive knowledge on education. Possessing excellent counselling, listening and general communication skills, along with the ability to communicate to students in simple ways on matters regarding teaching and learning. Having exceptional multi-tasking and organisational skills, all of which are imperative when working closely with colleagues. With an already successful academic track record, now looking to accomplish further success in the area of teaching, supervising, research, publication and consultation with a progressive employer such us Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI).

Dr Suzani Mohamad Samuri (Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjong Malim, Perak, Malaysia)

Suzani Mohamad Samuri received her B.Eng. degree from the Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Perak, Malaysia, in 2003. She had gained her industrial experience for 5 years, before she pursue her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Sheffield, U.K and graduated in 2012 in the field of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering. She joined Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, as a Lecturer in 2012, after her PhD and got promoted to Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computing, shortly after that. Since then, she actively involved in in the areas of intelligent system, data mining, modeling and decision support system.

She is the leader and member for more than 17 grants nationally and internationally and author and co-author for various international journals. In 2014 she was appointed as the coordinator for the National Child Data Centre (NCDC) which responsible to develop, maintain and improvise a system, profiling children’s data from as early as 3 months old to 4 years old in Malaysia. The NCDC system has gain several awards nationally and internationally and currently being used by more than 5000 childcare centres in Malaysia. Her current position allows her to explore new research area related to big data, data visualization and learning analytics powered by various computational intelligence tools. Her research interests include data-driven modeling, fuzzy/neuro-fuzzy systems, intelligent-systems-based modeling and control, evolutionary computing, big data, data mining, data visualization and learning analytics.
